Fine table salt is produced by grinding dry salt and sieving it. This fine salt flows well and does not clump due to its uniform grain size. It can be used both at the table and for seasoning.
Natural, using no additives, and loaded with minerals (magnesium, calcium, potassium, and trace elements), this Guérande salt has a great flavour without bitterness. Due to its harvesting on a clay background, its crystals are grey, friable, and perfectly assimilable.
The Guerande salt’s thousand-year-old tradition continues to be carried out in the south of Brittany by Tradysel. They carry on this heritage by producing pure Guérande Celtic salt while ensuring the preservation of the location and this unique, natural product.
The Tradysel Celtic Guérande salt is entirely handmade, harvested each summer day on real salt marshes that have been preserved in their natural condition by generations of salt marsh workers (Paludiers). The harvesting ponds serve as the hub of a circuit where salt is concentrated as seawater slowly evaporates.
