The Montbéliard sausage, a Franche-Comté specialty in France is a pork sausage cooked over sawdust that gives a unique smoky flavor as well as a lovely amber-brown colour. These tasty French saucisses go well in hotpots with potatoes or with lentils; they’re also traditionally served with cancoillotte cheese or sauerkraut (choucroute).

We always aim to send out products with the longest best before date possible, you can expect 4 days as a minimum when you receive this product, also please note that this item is suitable for freezing. Many of our fresh products will have a shelf life that exceeds this, so please get in touch if you’d like up-to-date information on our current stock. Our chilled products will be sent in temperature-controlled packaging with enough icepacks to keep them cool in transit for up to 72 hours.
