Maitre Prunille Agen prunes 500g
These soft, flavourful prunes are grown in the “Pruneaux d’Agen” Protected Geographical Indication area in the Aquitaine region of France. This product contains between 44/55 prunes per 500g.
These glossy, almost black prunes with amber flesh combine well with foie gras, as well as stews and roasts made with pork, game, or poultry. They also pair well with aged and blue cheeses and may be used to make compotes and other desserts like the far Breton, a custard-based tart with prunes from Brittany.
