This traditional French cured sausage is infused with 10% figs, adding a deliciously fruity note to the mellow, rounded taste of the meat. If you like pork with apples or caramelised onion, then you’ll love this finely seasoned delight.
You can simply slice this 160g saucisson and eat it on its own. Try it together with a delicate goat’s cheese, or as part of a charcuterie platter. It goes very well with fresh fruit as well as with salty flavours such as nuts, serve with bread and cornichons. The saucisson should be refrigerated once cut, but the flavour really blossoms if you let it come to room temperature before serving.
